Modupe Oyedepo

Modupe Oyedepo is a focused, hardworking and result oriented strategic thinker passionate about developing solutions to every day challenges in organizations. Modupe Oyedepo holds a degree in French Major with English and German as Minors from The University of Benin in Edo state.

With an analytical mind, uncanny problem solving abilities, organizational dexterity and a willingness to leverage on several relationships built over the years, she is desirous of collaborating with others in a work environment to achieve set goals.

As a Consultant in the global space, she has over twenty-eight years’ experience in training facilitation, System and Process Analysis, Strategic Planning, Bi-lateral Business Development, Project Management and Administration.

In Phillips Consulting, Modupe organised and facilitated training programs for clients with the objective of improving their productivity, which feedback confirmed were often achieved. Here she developed strong interpersonal and organisational skills. In addition, as a Management Consultant under the former Managing Partner, Mr. Folusho Philips, she acquired analytical and problem solving abilities which were used to provide solutions to the myriad of problems encountered by clients and develop their training plan. These experiences have served as her foundation in trainings for organisations; She is currently a sort out training faculty with Phillips Consulting, Abuja Office.

As an Independent Facilitator/Consultant, working under the Derberith Group, Modupe has undertaken a lot of Training facilitations through Phillips Consulting for various clients including Stock Exchange, AMCON, Plateau State Government Enugu Electricity Distribution Company Lagos State liaison office, African Community Bridge Foundation, just to mention a few.

She is also a Human Capital generalist with a focus on Out Sourcing, Preparation of Bids for Bi-lateral Trade Transaction; she has executed some jobs in Senegal, carried out Executive Bi-lingual Recruitment in Chad etc. She has attended several courses/trainings both within and outside Nigeria and is a continuous learner. She has attended various leadership trainings and was the Secretary of the Institute of National Transformation’s Alumni Association.

Her position as the Administrative Manager of the Canadian High Commission for ten (10) years ensured the Global Best Practices were adopted and maintained in all tasks under her purview including general administration, Human Resources planning, procurement, contracts administration, property management and the planning and execution of visits by the various Prime Ministers. As the Head of Administration, she was responsible for the general well being of employees as well as motivating and activating them to pursue and achieve excellence.

Modupe blazed the trail as the first Business Developer to increase the market share of Pharma Deko Pharmaceutical Products in the Abuja market from ten (10%) per cent to a whopping seventy five (75%) percent. During her time in this industry she not only strengthened relationships with existing customers, but established new relationships thereby placing the company in one of the leading positions.

Modupe possesses strong leadership skills and sits in the inner circles of various not-for-profit organisations such as Nehemiah Company Nigeria for eight years. She is a lover of the arts with interest in drama, poetry, music, visual arts and jewellery design/productions.
