Edbert Abebe

An alumnus of Harvard University Kennedy School of Government, Ed is currently the CEO of ACLC Consulting, a leadership and management consultant, speaker, trainer and coach with extensive capacities and experience in the design and delivery of innovative and high – impact leadership development programs.
With a first degree in Law, an M.Sc. in Peace, Conflict and Strategic Studies and a Ph.D. ongoing in the same field, he has a strong passion and commitment for leadership development, activating potential and optimizing performance for individuals and organizations.
He is also an alumnus of Kansas Leadership Centre’s program on Teaching Leadership, Adaptive Leadership Network’s program on – Introduction to Adaptive Leadership, International Leadership Association’s – Leadership Education Academy and Regent University’s program on Transformation Leadership.
In the last 15 years, he has worked with several organizations as a people strategist focusing on achieving organizational objectives through building critical soft skills and leadership competencies needed for positive change and peak performance.
He has recorded accomplishment in engineering change through people optimization, improved systems and structures and training development.
Using an adaptive leadership framework, He works with small businesses and not for profit organizations to identify their most significant challenges, generate new solutions, and exercise the leadership required to bring them to scale. His drive and motivation is fueled by the need to ensure that, in an increasingly evolving, dynamic and complex world, individuals and organizations can adapt and thrive, as they take on the gradual but meaningful process of change.
His learning and development framework is engaging, innovative and provocative, enabling organizations to shift their own patterns of behavior as well as develop new and robust strategies to alter their business practices and norms.
